Medical Screener

CSL Plasma is seeking a Medical Screener to join our team. As a Medical Screener, you will be responsible for greeting donors at the plasma collection center and conducting a series of registration procedures to verify donor suitability for the plasma pheresis process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified donors in completing the screening process, including assessing self-administered health history and answering basic medical questions.
• Perform health screening procedures such as blood pressure, pulse, weight, and temperature.
• Refer donors to medical staff when appropriate and ensure accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for donors.
• Maintain a clean and efficient work environment and follow all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) months experience in a clerical or customer service related position, preferably in a medical or health provider environment.
• Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
