Senior Wire Harness Designer and Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Wire Harness Designer and Installation Specialist to join our team at TAD PGS, Inc. in Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and design principles.
Job OverviewThis is a contract position with a competitive estimated salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work closely with our internal and external customers to develop and maintain wire harness designs, installation plans, and bundle assemblies.
About the RoleThe Senior Wire Harness Designer and Installation Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining wire harness physical designs and installation plans, including 3D models, wire harness assembly models, and 2D formboard drawings.
- Performing assigned tasks meeting our organization's expectations for quality, schedule, and process compliance.
- Collaborating and coordinating with customers to develop design solutions.
- Contacting subcontractors and suppliers to exchange technical data and coordinate project execution.
- Ensuring application of business unit best practices and identifying the need for enhanced processes, methods, and tools.
- Translating program technical requirements into work requirements, processes, and tasks.
- Developing solutions to complex problems, which require ingenuity and innovation.
- Mentoring less experienced staff in the use of CAD and other design tools.
- Providing guidance and reviews of work as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent), and a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in engineering, including 3 years in an engineering classification, 2 years of CAD design, and 2 years of electrical/mechanical design or installation.

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in engineering, including 3 years in an engineering classification, 2 years of CAD design, and 2 years of electrical/mechanical design or installation.
- Proficient knowledge of CAD design tools, including CATIA Electrical Workbench.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
