Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
- Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
The role involves providing high-quality care to patients in the ICU setting. The Travel RN will be responsible for:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assisting with various medical procedures and equipment.
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Valid New Jersey RN License.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting.
- Proficient in managing patients with complex medical conditions, including those requiring ventilatory support.
- Telemetry experience is essential.
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- NIHSS certification.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is highly desirable.
Applicants should be flexible and willing to float to other units as necessary. The role requires the ability to manage a diverse patient population with various medical conditions.
