Desired Work Experience:
~ No previous retail experience is necessary.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Adheres to departmental procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking products.
Monitors product quality and freshness, ensuring proper rotation.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of cases and shelves.
Assists with periodic inventory assessments.
Attends all scheduled shifts and required training sessions.
Responds to phone calls and pages promptly and courteously.
Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products.
Complies with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintains equipment according to Whole Foods Market cleanliness and safety standards.Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
Ability to visually assess products for quality and freshness.
Passion for natural foods and alignment with the mission of Whole Foods Market.
Understanding and adherence to Whole Foods Market quality standards.
In an 8-hour workday: standing/walking for 6-8 hours.
~ Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
~ Ability to utilize tools and equipment, including box cutters, knives, electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, six-wheel carts, balers, and other heavy machinery.
