Highly Specialized Infusion Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

Job OverviewThis part-time position at our Mountain View, CA infusion center requires coverage 1-2 days per week (Monday/Tuesday). As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional nursing services to patients in accordance with their individualized plan of care.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain confidentiality and function as a patient advocate, treating patients and families with respect and dignity.
- Demonstrate competency in providing patient care, adhering to professional standards and state regulations.
- Conduct initial patient evaluations, develop personalized plans of care, and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.
- Evaluate patient needs, update plans of care, and provide health education and counseling as necessary.
- Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on patient diagnoses and health history.
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Continuous Quality Improvement programs.
- Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Holds a current NP state license in the state of practice.
- At least 4-5 years of advanced practice registered nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory and infusion nursing.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and computer software.
- CPR certification and valid driver's license.
