Job Title: Laboratory Scientist

UnityPoint Health is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team. As a Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of laboratory test results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate and timely test results
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure laboratory accuracy
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution
  • College or post-graduate laboratory experience
  • Hospital or reference laboratory experience
  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
