As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst within PNC's Financial Systems division, you will have the opportunity to work from various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

This position will provide essential support to eROD, PNC's account reconcilement and attestation system.

The Financial Systems team is crucial in maintaining system integrity, data quality, precise documentation, and continuous monitoring within the monthly production schedule for reconcilement and attestation through the following responsibilities:

Business Functional Support:

  • Oversee daily and monthly certification tool processes, ensuring compliance with PNC Reconcilement Standards.
  • Develop and present quarterly reports to Executives summarizing exposure changes for the Corporation, enhancing Management's awareness of potential risks and financial implications.
  • Collaborate extensively with PNC Service Partners to ensure adherence to the reconcilement certification process.
  • Assist users with inquiries related to business and certification tools.
  • Act as a point of contact for researching, escalating, and resolving production issues.
  • Review and update departmental procedures as necessary.
  • Inform Management regarding reconcilement information that does not comply with established policies.
  • Support testing related to technology updates for reconciliation certification.
  • Demonstrate strong data analysis capabilities.
  • Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

Project Work:

  • Enhance the Potential Future Exposure (PFE) Reporting package.
  • Coordinate and prioritize the automation of account reconciliation jobs, reports, and processes.
  • Facilitate the transition of the existing certification tool to a new reconcilement and certification module.
  • Gather and document business requirements effectively.
  • Provide insights on design and technology solutions to meet business and functional needs.
  • Participate in testing to ensure functionality aligns with business requirements.
  • Update reference materials and deliver end-user training.
  • Streamline and enhance governance around policies and procedures to strengthen PNC standards.
  • Establish and update controls related to reconcilement governance.

Directs the research, discovery, collection, and interpretation of business requirements, participating in the development and review of processes, procedures, workflow analytics, and reporting.

Provides consultation to clients on business designs, problem-solving, and business analysis to support project management. Develops and maintains all relevant policy and procedure documentation.

Independently identifies and clarifies the business requirements necessary to enhance applicable business processes. Offers expertise and problem-solving support for clients and technology teams throughout the business analysis process.

Translates business needs, processes, and procedures by collaborating with relevant experts and stakeholders to articulate requirements.

May engage with stakeholders and technology teams on moderately complex business requirements, providing gap analysis and facilitating future business process modeling.
