We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team at OSF HealthCare. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform clinical and administrative duties consistent with Medical Assistant program education, training, and experience.
- Work in both the clinical and front office functions of the practice, providing clerical and assisting in the delivery of healthcare and patient care support activities.
- Perform duties in accordance with the specific needs of the practice.
- High school or GED equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience with computer, Microsoft Office, and email
- Minimum of 6 months health care facility clinical experience or clinical education (including enrollment or completion of OSF MSS MOA Bridge Program)
- Completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent
- Minimum of six months experience with an electronic health record
- Some knowledge of medical terminology
