Job Summary

Focus Staff is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical expertise in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Observe and interpret cardiac rhythms of patients on monitor equipment.
  • Run and post rhythm strips at designated intervals to ensure accurate patient data.
  • Validate computer readouts and compare posted strips to previous strips to identify changes in cardiac rhythm.
  • Verify lead placement on patients and notify nursing staff of any discrepancies.
  • Test equipment for proper working order and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or EKG Technician.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety and precautions.
  • Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and maintain regular attendance.
