At Bellin Health, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA) to join our Float Team. As a key member of our primary care clinic team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities:- Accurately record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results into our electronic health record system.
- Conduct screenings, diagnostic treatments, and rehabilitative services as part of our team-based care model.
- Identify patient problems and assist in care planning as an integral part of the treatment team.
- Prepare and administer medications and immunizations under the guidance of a registered nurse or provider.
- Provide patient education on healthy living and manage patient flow in the clinic.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to meet infection control standards.
- Obtain specimens as directed by the provider and perform follow-up calls to patients.
- Valid State of Wisconsin LPN license and/or Medical Assistant certificate.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Solid time management and organizational skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Competent in basic healthcare procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
