Position Overview
We are in search of a detail-oriented and experienced professional who can significantly impact our financial operations. This role involves overseeing the financial records and transactions of various subsidiaries within our larger corporate structure.

The successful candidate will be expected to evolve and innovate within our organization by refining current practices and developing new strategies.

This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial operations
- Review and authorize accounts payable
- Manage fixed assets, ensuring accurate records of acquisitions and disposals
- Verify the correctness of book and tax depreciation
- File necessary business taxes and renditions
- Identify and address transactions with potential accounting implications
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Adhere to GAAP while exercising sound judgment
- Conduct financial analyses
- Complete monthly and annual closing processes
- Generate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Communicate findings and issues to management
- Assist external auditors as needed
- Support the finance department with various projects and tasks as required

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience in public accounting or a similar area
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with SAP is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly motivated with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively
- Ability to manage challenges and meet deadlines under pressure
- Organized, professional, positive, and reliable
