Role Overview:
As our Versatile Maintenance Technician, you will play an essential role in the Engineering department, delivering comprehensive electrical, mechanical, and maintenance engineering services to enhance production efficiency.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Performing timely and safe repairs on manufacturing machinery.
  • Working on various equipment, including Washers, Graders, Weighers, and Baggers, as per the Planned Maintenance Schedule.
  • Completing Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedules and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborating with production teams to enhance equipment knowledge and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adhering to food safety and quality management systems.
  • Actively participating in health and safety procedures, identifying hazards and risks.

Shift Details:
Your standard working hours will be from 6pm to 2am, with flexibility required for earlier starts or later finishes to support operations. Overtime opportunities are available, along with occasional weekend work for specific maintenance tasks.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a collaborative team player who can adapt and overcome challenges. A solid understanding of both Electrical and Mechanical maintenance is essential, with at least 3 years of maintenance experience, ideally within the food production sector. A focus on reliability and continuous improvement, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, is crucial.
