OSP Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Engineer to join our team at Kanaan Communications, LLC. As an OSP Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing outside plant infrastructure for our fiber optic network.

• Design and implement outside plant infrastructure, including fiber optic cables and equipment
• Conduct site surveys to gather information and determine the best fiber deployment strategy
• Evaluate construction standards and create cost-effective estimates
• Coordinate with drafting personnel to produce OSP/ISP construction drawings
• Solve complex OSP engineering problems with innovative solutions
• Work collaboratively with engineering, construction, project management, and scheduling personnel to deliver results to customers

• Previous working knowledge of fiber construction industry standards, practices, and regulations
• Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods and engineering and construction requirements
• Effective communication skills
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Ability to travel
