Exciting Opportunity for Family Nurse Practitioners

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Fitzgerald, Georgia. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that offers a unique blend of clinical autonomy and support. You will work in a fast-paced urgent care environment, providing care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. Our clinic is open 362 days a year, and we are committed to serving our rural communities with compassion and expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including colds, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
  • Perform minor procedures, such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
  • Provide suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations and management
  • Review x-rays and provide general dermatology, eye, and EKG interpretations
  • Manage emergency situations and provide general GYN expertise
  • Treat children of all ages and provide occupational medicine and telemedicine services

Qualifications

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner with:

  • Board certification required
  • MSN or higher education required
  • DOT certification or willingness to become certified
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred
