Job Title: Lead Java Developer

Location: Remote

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development process, designing and implementing high-quality software solutions, and mentoring junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Software Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable, maintainable, and efficient Java applications that meet business requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver seamless and effective solutions.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to coding standards.
  • Agile Methodologies: Implement Agile methodologies to maximize team productivity and enhance business value.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate), web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
  • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java frameworks.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, successfully managing and mentoring development teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
