**Job Summary**

Regal Rexnord is seeking a skilled Component Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for performing quality control technical functions throughout the plant, using good judgment and reasoning skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provides gauge setting function for the plant by reviewing prints for limitations and specifications, selecting and distributing standards, setting up gauges as required, and verifying or making new standards as needed.
  • Performs component dimension, roundness, and profile tracings of components, interpreting results.
  • Deals efficiently with coworkers, suppliers, supervisors, staff department heads, and personnel in other plants in the bearing division.
  • Maintains I, M & TE records for verification and performs calibration of all I, M & TE equipment, developing and writing procedures as needed.
  • Uses computer software such as Microsoft Office, Oracle, Engage Software, and SharePoint.
  • Inspects all pieces of a scheduled lot for 1 or more dimensional or visual characteristics, including checking for defective components, returned merchandise, or sizing parts for the assembly department.
  • Performs other related inspection functions, such as etching, removing natal etching, audit inspections, and operating magnaflux units and natal etch systems.
  • Moves containers of parts within the inspection area and to the next operation by lifting baskets, using a hoist, or using a hand cart.
  • Fills out required paperwork, including inspection reports, rework tickets, and scrap tickets, providing accurate record keeping.
  • Prepares and packs components for shipment, completes all relevant paperwork, and distributes copies as required.
  • Performs receiving inspection function utilizing various software and gauging.
  • Performs induction HT inspection function.
  • Follows Ethics and Safety Programs, adheres to all Export, Import, and Supply Chain Security Policy requirements relevant to the position, and follows State and Federal Environmental Compliance Programs.
  • Adheres to AS-9100 Standards.

**Qualifications/Skills Required**

  • Education: High School Education or GED
  • Experience: None
  • Travel Required: N/A
  • Computer Skill: Personal Computer, Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Proficient with the Internet
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to get along with others
  • Can effectively function in a matrix and team environment
  • Regular attendance
