Job Title: Cardiac Catheterization Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at a 290-bed hospital in Hudson, Florida. This is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours of work per week.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cardiac catheterization procedures, operating medical imaging equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms and coronary interventions
  • Operate medical imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and outcomes
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements:
  • 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist
  • Current certification in Cardiac Catheterization Technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
