A Structural Drafter with PVE, LLC in Pittsburgh, PA.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience transforming engineering sketches and designs into working documents using computer-aided design software.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze building performance related to structural elements, building envelope, and site conditions.
  • Create drawings, layouts, and designs of various structures and foundations using basic design principles.
  • Examine and design façade, roof, building construction, and site elements affecting the building's overall performance.
  • Utilize knowledge of design/analysis within related fields (structural engineering).
Requirements
  • Experience and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit Autodesk.
  • CAD certification from a technical school or program.
  • 1-3 years of related CAD experience in structural engineering and/or construction industries.
  • Understanding of processes, compliance, and other design consulting and construction professionals.
Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
