Laboratory Specialist

We are committed to providing top-notch services, and we need a dedicated professional like you to help us achieve this goal. As a Laboratory Technician 2, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of test examinations.
- Maintain records demonstrating proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
- Adhere to quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations, and maintenance performed.
- Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and notify supervisors immediately.
- Document corrective actions taken when test systems deviate from established performance specifications.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor of Science degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
This role requires access to a site that requires COVID-19 vaccination or exemption from vaccination requirements. Prior to starting work, employees must show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination or exemption from vaccination requirements. Exemptions will be granted as warranted by medical contraindications, disability, or sincerely held religious beliefs.
**Compensation:** $42,000 - $44,800 per year (based on 40 hours/week) or $20-22/hour based on experience. Available day shift: Tues-Sat, 11a-7:30pm with potential to do 4 days of 10hrs.
