Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse LPN

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role:

The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to assigned patient populations. This includes organizing patient care, setting priorities, and assisting with the provision of patient care as established within the framework of the Georgia Board of Nursing Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with data collection and provide feedback to the Registered Nurse to enhance clinical decisions about treatments and nursing interventions.
  • Collect and document relevant data according to hospital standards.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions established in the interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • Evaluate patient responses to nursing care and therapies.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and assist to achieve unit-specific nurse-sensitive indicators.
Requirements:
  • Current State LPN License.
  • High School Diploma or GED and LPN diploma and Licensure.
  • New graduate LPNs or those with less than one year of experience will be referred to the LPN residency program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience is preferred (but not required).
