The Opportunity

As a Network Cyber Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in assessing vulnerabilities and recommending security strategies to protect our nation's critical infrastructure. With a strong background in networking and security, you will collaborate with our team to troubleshoot complex challenges and develop innovative security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security solutions to protect our nation's critical infrastructure
  • Collaborate with our team to troubleshoot complex networking and security challenges
  • Assess security threats and implement infrastructure controls
  • Leverage big data analytics and traditional security event types to identify advanced threats
Requirements
  • Experience in common operating systems, such as Linux, Windows, or Mac OS
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, such as ESXI or vmworkstation
  • Experience with basic cybersecurity best practices
  • Knowledge of basic networking
  • Ability to troubleshoot common technical problems
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
Nice to Have
  • Experience in programming languages
  • Experience with automated testing methodologies and frameworks
  • Experience with common networking technologies, such as switches, routers, or firewalls
Clearance and Compensation

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $106,000.00 (annualized USD).
