Position Overview

  • Accountable for performing light repair and upkeep tasks safely and efficiently under guidance.
  • Fundamental mechanical understanding and skill in utilizing hand tools, meters, and gauges are essential.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation is advantageous.
  • Capable of accurately diagnosing issues and effectively communicating conditions and situations.
  • Adherence to corporate and facility regulations, dress code, and comprehension of written and verbal instructions are crucial.
  • Ability to execute tasks independently with minimal oversight while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.

Additional responsibilities may encompass the installation and upkeep of mechanical systems, landscape maintenance, electrical tasks, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance.

On-call responsibilities may be required as determined by the department.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience in building maintenance is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required, along with CPR/BLS certification based on location.
