Key Responsibilities
  • **Leadership and Supervision**: Lead a team of 8-18 student staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of residence life programs.
  • **Community Engagement**: Develop and implement community engagement plans that promote University efforts to connect students to campus, foster holistic learning, and support student wellness.
  • **Crisis Management**: Respond to and manage crisis situations, providing support and resources to residents and staff as needed.
  • **Budgetary Functions**: Manage budgetary responsibilities, including financial planning and resource allocation.
  • **Collaboration and Partnerships**: Foster partnerships with Living Learning Communities, university partners, and other stakeholders to promote residence life initiatives.
  • **Conflict Resolution**: Manage conflict intervention and follow-up, ensuring a fair and respectful resolution process.
  • **Student Conduct**: Manage student conduct, providing guidance and support to promote student accountability and growth.
  • **Communication**: Effectively communicate with residents, staff, and stakeholders through various channels, including one-on-one and group settings.
