Job Summary:

Camping World Holdings, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lot Porter to join our team. As a Lot Porter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our recreational vehicle lots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Parking and Moving RVs: Safely park and move recreational vehicles in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Price Installation and Removal: Ensure that window prices on recreational vehicles are installed and removed as instructed, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Lot Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lot, including weekly washes, sweeping, and trash removal, to ensure a professional appearance.
  • Work Order Management: Write and track work orders, ensuring that problems are addressed and units are in proper working order.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain physical inventory on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Unit Preparation: Ensure that slide-outs are in, jacks are down, steps are down, select awnings are opened, and doors are unlocked, preparing units for customer viewing.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Towing Experience: Towing experience preferred.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to use yard tractors and/or forklifts, drive recreational vehicles, and operate generators and slide-outs.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistive devices, and work in a fast-paced environment with prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
  • Environmental Conditions: Exposure to heights, hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment, heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust, and wetness.
