About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team at Charlie's Produce. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various areas of our facility, including basic refrigeration, HVAC, mechanical motors, painting, carpentry, and electrical and plumbing repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Assist with executing the facility preventative maintenance plan
  • Perform mechanical and refrigeration duties
  • Maintain building and machinery maintenance
  • Maintain the facility grounds, including lawn care and snow removal
  • Communicate with third-party contractors when necessary
  • Attend monthly safety meetings
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in General Maintenance
  • Industrial Maintenance (mechanical and/or refrigeration) experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to plan in detail and communicate effectively
  • Proficiently read, write, and comprehend English
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC issues and electrical and mechanical problems
  • Ability to coordinate with contractors when necessary
