We are currently in search of a meticulous and knowledgeable Enrolled Agent. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in representing clients in their interactions with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), offering expert guidance on tax-related matters, and ensuring adherence to both federal and state tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation and Filing: Accurately prepare and submit tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws.
  • Client Representation: Act on behalf of clients during IRS audits, collections, and appeals. Engage in negotiations with the IRS to resolve tax-related disputes.
  • Tax Planning and Advisory: Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients aimed at minimizing tax liabilities and enhancing financial outcomes.
  • Research and Analysis: Remain informed about updates in tax legislation and regulations. Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues and communicate findings to clients and internal teams.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and precise client records, including tax returns, financial documents, and communications with tax authorities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial objectives and delivering customized solutions to meet their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Enrolled Agent certification with the IRS.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and representation.
  • Thorough understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and relevant financial tools.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
