About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scratch Cook to join our team at Elim Shores Independent and Assisted Living in Eden Prairie. As a Scratch Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals from scratch, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals to meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen team members to provide excellent customer service.
  • Inspect the kitchen to ensure adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
  • Review meal plans and note special diet requests.
  • Observe and report on low stock or high-demand choices.
  • Follow and understand diet restrictions and modifications.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in scratch cooking is required.
  • Prior Corporate Dining, Senior Living, or Country Club experience is preferred.
  • ServSafe Certification is preferred.
