Job Title: Cyber Operations Trainer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Operations Trainer to join our team. As a trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for cyber operations support to Combatant Commands, Major Commands, and USCYBERCOM. You will work closely with our team to create training scenarios, develop training materials, and deliver training to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for cyber operations support to Combatant Commands, Major Commands, and USCYBERCOM.
  • Collaborate with our team to create training scenarios, develop training materials, and deliver training to our clients.
  • Apply cyber operations analysis expertise to train operators on Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO), processes, and procedures.
  • Develop training material and solutions to integrate the intelligence support to cyber operations function in both Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO) and OCO.
  • Train Cyber Protection Team operators on how DCO implements proactive and reactive security measures to ensure the operational availability of enterprise networks and the uninterrupted flow of mission-critical information.
  • Analyze and integrate cyberspace operational tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) internally and externally to the organization, including playbooks, and the development of theater net-centric strategies, NetOps situational awareness operations, and a NetOps Concept of Operations (CONOPS) that will ensure data and systems are protected.
  • Interface with the client in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into training.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing and delivering cyberspace operations support for a Combatant Command, Major Command, or USCYBERCOM.
  • Experience with intelligence support to cyber operations, including all-source processes, products, and SIGINT.
  • Experience with simulated environments or scenario development that meets individual and unit training requirements.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Space Force operations, U.S. Space Command operations, and orbital mechanics.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and cyberspace operations, including Joint publications, doctrines, and policy implementations.
  • Ability to formulate recommendations for corrective actions to address identified risks and support CMF training.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • HS diploma or GED.
  • DoD M Compliance IAT-II Certification such as GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with DCO.
  • 2+ years of experience as an Orbital Warfare Analyst.
  • Experience with operations on a CMT or NMT.
  • Knowledge of modern computer systems, including client and server, LAN/WAN and network concepts, and modern network management and security monitoring concepts.
  • Ability to advise on network security issues and enforce network security and vulnerability mitigation policies and procedures.
  • Possession of excellent project management and organization skills, including drafting clear and concise reports and briefing daily network security summaries, issues, and concerns to senior leaders and a larger audience.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,700.00 to $106, annualized USD. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
