Job Summary

AFC Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to our patients, while collaborating with our staff to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Manage patient care while on shift, ensuring timely and effective care delivery.
  • Supervise clinical staff while on shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and charts.
  • Process biological specimens as needed, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Mass NP or PA License.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, patients, and families.
  • Professional appearance and attitude, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Active and current medical licensure in the state of practice.
  • Active and current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as needed.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making authority.
