We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Academic Mentor to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized support to students, helping them overcome challenges and achieve academic success.

This part-time position offers a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with students of various ages and skill levels. Our ideal candidate is someone who is empathetic, patient, and able to build strong relationships with students and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one with students to address specific academic needs and goals
• Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed of student progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in college/university
• Teaching certification an asset
• Experience working with students in an educational setting (desired)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 1:00pm, with optional after-school and evening hours available.
