About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Custodian to join our team at SBM Management Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties, including cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash and recycling, and restocking supplies.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned areas, including restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks, such as cleaning and sanitizing high-touch areas.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• May be required to have a valid driver's license.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team.
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 6 months of custodial experience.

Work Schedule

Wednesday - Friday, 4.00PM - 8:00PM, Saturday & Sunday, 7:00AM - 11:00AM

Compensation

$18.39 per hour
