Ceramic Core Technician Job Summary

At CPP Euclid, we are seeking a skilled Ceramic Core Technician to join our team. As a Ceramic Core Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and accepting or rejecting ceramic cores used in our operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect ceramic cores for dimensional accuracy and quality
  • Assess overall quality of cores received to ensure they meet CPP standards
  • Verify processing paperwork has been completed correctly and tracked per CPP procedures
  • Document and report non-conforming material or paperwork found during inspections
  • Communicate clearly with customers and vendors regarding core-related issues
  • Perform visual inspections and monitor SPC of cores as needed
  • Comply with AS9100 and Nadcap certification standards, as well as customer-specific standards
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of inspection experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ceramic cores and quality requirements
  • Basic computer skills and math concepts
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
Working Environment:

This role will be based in our factory and inspection areas. Safety glasses and safety-toed shoes are required in all areas of the plant.
