Position Details
Role: Women's Health Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Virginia
Employment Type: Outpatient Care
Work Schedule:
Four 8-hour shifts per week in a clinical environment
Standard hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
No evening or inpatient on-call duties required
Patient Care
Daily Patient Load:
Approximately 20 patients
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive healthcare services to OB/GYN patients in an outpatient clinic setting
- Manage both new and returning patients
- Operate independently while having a supervising physician available for consultation
- Collaborate with a team that may include midwives and/or Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs)
Qualifications
- Certification as a Women's Health Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) with a focus on Women's Health
- Board Certification/Eligibility is not mandatory
- Previous experience in OB/GYN care is advantageous
- Familiarity with eClinical Works EMR is preferred
