Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This is a full-time opportunity with 12-hour shifts, including nights and rotating shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage complex medical conditions, including respiratory failure, cardiovascular dysfunction, and hepatic failure
- Administer medications and treatments, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and mechanical ventilation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit efficiency
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
- At least 2 years of experience as a pediatric intensive care nurse
- Current registration or eligibility for licensure with the Delaware State Board of Nursing
- CPR certification by the American Heart Association
- PALS certification preferred
