Are you enthusiastic about creating resilient systems that enable teams to monitor, diagnose, and enhance their applications seamlessly? We are in search of a skilled Systems Monitoring Engineer to become a part of our team.

In this position, you will take charge of designing, implementing, and sustaining our monitoring platform, allowing our teams to acquire profound insights into the performance and health of our systems.


Responsibilities:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and execute monitoring requirements and standards.
Design and implement solutions for monitoring, logging, and tracing to ensure thorough visibility into our systems.
Develop tailored metrics, dashboards, and alerts to proactively detect and address issues.
Continuously enhance monitoring tools and processes to improve system reliability and performance.
Lead initiatives to automate monitoring-related tasks and optimize workflows.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in monitoring and propose innovative solutions to enhance our infrastructure.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing monitoring solutions for intricate distributed systems.
Proficiency in at least one monitoring tool such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar.
Strong scripting and automation capabilities (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for developing monitoring and alerting scripts.
Experience with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Solid understanding of networking, system administration, and security principles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
