Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echocardiography Technologist to join our team at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. As an Echocardiography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) on patients. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of cardiac ECHO experience and 2 years of pediatric experience, with a strong background in Epic and BLS certification.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and TEEs on patients
  • Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
  • Develop and implement echocardiography protocols
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency
Requirements
  • 2+ years of cardiac ECHO experience
  • 2 years of pediatric experience
  • CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Epic experience within the last 12 months
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7am to 5:30pm, with weekends and on-call shifts as needed.

Additional Information

Holiday RTO will not be approved; it can be discussed with manager at the time of schedule creation.
