As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for strategically staffing the team, implementing processes, and driving innovation in our revolutionary platform.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the CEO and Head of Talent to attract and retain top engineering talent across various disciplines.
  • Develop and execute critical milestones, ensuring deadlines are met and progress is monitored across all development teams.
  • Manage the engineering organization, removing roadblocks and fostering a collaborative environment that values teamwork and innovation.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in building an aerospace program.
  • 3-5+ years of senior leadership experience with personnel and P&L responsibilities.
  • Broad understanding of major aircraft systems, with meaningful depth in at least one area and the ability to hire experts in other areas.
  • Experience leading as both a manager of functional managers and managing without traditional influence.
  • Ability to project manage complex development timelines with competing timelines and unique constraints.
  • Ability to attract top talent across engineering disciplines and measure team and individual performance.
  • Ability to evolve a small organization from its founding team into a robust, diverse collection of teams.
