Overview:
The Boilermaker/Welder Trainee role focuses on the maintenance and repair of boilers, burners, and associated equipment. Key responsibilities include conducting pressure vessel repairs, estimating service tasks, managing inventory, and more. This position necessitates strong communication abilities, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete service documentation and submit in a timely manner
- Participate in factory training specific to boiler pressure vessel welding
- Deliver exceptional service to clients and resolve any issues
- Contribute to 24-hour service availability on a rotating schedule
- Comprehend and adhere to ASME Code standards for repair work
- Engage in safety meetings and training sessions
- Possess experience in the operation and upkeep of boilers, pumps, and auxiliary systems
- Execute repairs on boilers and pressure vessels
- Understand water treatment processes and troubleshoot equipment
- Interpret mechanical schematics and perform pipe fitting in accordance with regulations
