As a CT Technologist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies and diseases. This position requires a strong understanding of radiation safety, patient positioning, and imaging protocols. Key Responsibilities:

•⁠ ⁠Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images for use by healthcare providers in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions.

•⁠ ⁠Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

•⁠ ⁠Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.

•⁠ ⁠Review patient charts and radiological history to determine the most appropriate imaging protocol.

•⁠ ⁠Identify patients, ensure proper positioning, and immobilization to obtain accurate images.

•⁠ ⁠Explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and instructions to ensure their understanding and comfort.

•⁠ ⁠Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control procedures and radiation safety regulations.

•⁠ ⁠Schedule CT exams for optimal efficiency and equipment utilization.

Requirements:

•⁠ ⁠ARRT registered Radiographer

•⁠ ⁠Advanced CT certification or CT registry-eligible (certification within one year of hire).

•⁠ ⁠Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

•⁠ ⁠Excellent communication and customer service skills.

•⁠ ⁠Experience working in a trauma and stroke center (preferred).

•⁠ ⁠Experience with venipuncture, cross-sectional anatomy, post-processing/3D, cardiac CTA, and CT-guided procedures (preferred).
