Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem / prn Outpatient Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical therapy needs according to organizational and professional guidelines.
  • Develop and implement effective physical therapy plans to manage rehabilitation populations.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with facility and practice guidelines.
  • Orient, train, and mentor therapy and health care students to achieve stated performance expectations.
  • Identify and act upon performance improvement opportunities to implement best practices.
  • Complete additional department, organization, or network activities as per established objectives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for physical therapy evaluation, interpretation, treatment planning, and execution.
  • Computer proficiency required, with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
