Operate and oversee machinery such as palletizers, wrappers, forklifts, and other related equipment within the production facility, prioritizing quality at all times. Collaborate effectively in a team setting and communicate (both verbally and in writing) with colleagues on a professional level. Contribute to the overall production objectives of the department while ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Adhere to our core values outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
Report any equipment malfunctions and accidents promptly. Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to safe work practices. Utilize all required personal protective equipment (P.P.E.). Ensure full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Monitor the palletizing process closely. Perform routine maintenance on palletizers as per the manuals, along with other maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisors. Communicate any issues related to the operation and maintenance of the palletizing equipment. Adjust equipment as necessary to optimize line efficiency and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operational challenges. Clean equipment thoroughly, including manual cleaning tasks. Execute changeovers according to the production schedule. Order necessary supplies for equipment maintenance. Adhere to Quality Assurance standards and specifications. Conduct line changeovers safely and efficiently. Monitor and maintain equipment functionality. Keep the work environment clean at all times. Communicate with operators promptly when issues arise. Program new pallet patterns as required by production needs. Perform additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
Complete tasks safely and efficiently to ensure smooth operations. Follow Lock Out / Tag Out procedures and other safety protocols. Fulfill all job responsibilities to ensure compliance with company, federal, and state standards. Collaborate as a team player to support a safe, quality, and efficient production process. Demonstrate proficiency in all procedures related to this role. Use a company-provided radio to communicate operational and mechanical issues during shifts. Exhibit mechanical aptitude and the ability to work in confined or awkward spaces. Operate machinery at recommended speeds and report any mechanical or operational defects. Clean and operate equipment with urgency to maximize throughput and minimize downtime, prioritizing quality.Company Overview:
