Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and facilitate the success of various engagements across all taxation areas.
  • Conduct initial reviews of intricate tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnership/LLC clients.
  • Engage closely with clients to deliver innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services efficiently.
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction through effective communication, expectation management, and timely delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with Partners, Senior Managers, and staff on client management and business development initiatives.
  • Mentor and develop staff, including conducting performance evaluations.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical expertise in tax preparation, compliance, and research.
  • Ability to think creatively and logically to solve problems.
  • Proven capability to self-manage and effectively prioritize multiple engagements under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to foster strong client and staff relationships.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Profx systems, EngagementGFR, and Sureprep is advantageous.
  • 7+ years of tax experience in a mid to large CPA firm environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting is mandatory; a Master's in Taxation is a plus.
  • CPA Certification is required.
  • Availability to work in the office a minimum of three days per week.
