We are seeking a skilled RN to join our team in the Short Stay Unit as a Per Diem/Relief, 0.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this role is $65.72, with the hiring rate dependent on factors such as education, training, work experience, and collective bargaining agreements.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
- Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
- Direct and delegate care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of hospital policies, procedures, and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection prevention programs.
- Accredited School of Nursing Required.
- Nursing - Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
- A minimum of one year clinical experience as a Pre-op/PACU RN.
- One year clinical experience as an OR Staff RN preferred.
- Lifting: Patient handling no greater than 35 lbs. without the use of assistive equipment and/or devices (NIOSH).
- Fine motor skills to grasp and control medical equipment and perform precise procedures.
- Push/Pull: Frequently up to 45 lbs. force (i.e., WOW, medical carts).
