Clinical Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary:

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Clinical Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our Med/Surg Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within the hospital.
  • Schedule employee shifts and ensure admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner.
  • Assign patients to appropriate health practitioners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire.
  • American Red Cross approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Telemetry experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
