Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our Adult Ambulatory Care team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our providers to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients, including administering treatments and performing general nursing care.
- Work collaboratively with providers to facilitate quality care for patients, including preparing equipment and assisting with examinations and testing.
- Obtain well-documented patient history and vitals, instruct patients in collection of samples and tests, and coordinate patient transfer to hospital and/or discharge.
- Perform various tasks, including specimen collection, wound care, and administration of medications, under the supervision of licensed practitioners.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, refill prescriptions, and provide patient education and instructions.
- Maintain patient files, records, and other information in a professional manner, following policies and procedures regarding documentation.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively with providers and other healthcare team members.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
This is a per diem position, requiring flexibility to work variable shifts and schedules. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
