Logistics Coordinator Opportunity: US Foods is seeking a skilled Food Distribution Logistics Coordinator to join our team as a Local Class A Delivery Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for safely driving trucks to customers and meeting scheduled delivery times. This position requires a valid CDL Class A license, at least six months of commercial driving experience, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of food products to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • At least six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records
