Distributed Systems Engineer

The RoleWe're seeking a highly skilled Distributed Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Delivery Core team, you'll play a critical role in building and shipping innovative experiences for our members and creators.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable, distributed systems to support our global content delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable software components using Java and other JVM languages
- Work closely with our engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software changes
- Strong software skills in Java or other JVM languages
- Experience with operating complex distributed systems components, including databases, APIs, and controllers
- Proficiency in backend services and integration layers
- Ability to break down complexity, iterate, and communicate progress to a wide variety of partners and stakeholders

We offer a competitive annual salary, comprehensive benefits, and a unique compensation structure that allows you to choose how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. Our range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
