About the Role

This is a part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse with lactation consulting experience to join our team. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including post-hospital teaching and support. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities
  • Implement a care plan to ensure adequate infant nutrition
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide patient, staff, and community education and support
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; Minimum of 2 years' experience in lactation consulting required; previous nursing experience with mother-child preferred
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
