Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and attractive environment for our clients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, offices, and client rooms.
  • Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures.
  • Empties wastebaskets and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Replenish bathroom supplies.
  • Perform basic computer tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience in a nursing home or hospital setting preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Environment

The work environment is typically quiet, with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals and detergents. The employee must be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and agency goals.
