Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Basketball Coach to join our team at the LOS GATOS COMMUNITY Developmental Basketball Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our youth basketball program, developing and implementing coaching strategies, and creating a positive and supportive learning environment for our players.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement coaching strategies to improve player skills and teamwork
  • Lead and manage basketball classes, clinics, and camps
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of the Academy's instructional goals and objectives
  • Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff to achieve program goals
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with players, parents, and staff

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience coaching youth basketball
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the game and current coaching techniques
  • Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
